That’s what this yummy dish is made of! 🙂

This is my version of Sweet Spicy Prawns.  I simply squeezed half a lemon on a kilo of prawns and seasoned these with about a tablespoon of sea salt before sauteeing with the pre-simmered carrot strips and 3/4 of a cup of sweet chili sauce.  Easy-peesy, right? 😉

  4. Biased ako sa prawns. Kahit anong luto masarap! Hee hee. 🙂 How much ang prawns diyan, Pinks? Dito around $4.99 a lb. Yun na ang pinakamura. Hindi pala presyo ng prawns yun kundi shrimps na pupugakpugak. 😦

    A kilo of these cost around US$11, if I remember it right… 😉 That comes out to around the same cost per pound ata – mga US$4.85… tama ba math ko?

    I just couldn’t resist buying these kahit medyo pricey since seafood here is quite abundant – with our place being practically a coastal city right next to the Arabian Gulf. 🙂


  5. Awww ang king prawns na frozen dito ay nasa GBP6 ang 500 grams. Paano pa kaya ang fresh? (Nakisagot lang kay Ate Weng. Sorry!)

    Easy-peesy ba? Hehe! Sa mga amateurs na tulad ko magsasando ako kahit nagyeyelo na sa labas ng bahay.

    ako rin (and actually pati si ninna) biased sa shrimp kaya kahit anong luto (katulad nito, i’m sure) masarap, hehe!
