LaPiS: MELTed Bliss

It’s April, folks! And yes, speaking of the month which is weirdly ushered in by an “honoring of fools” somewhat, let me join the “silly bandwagon” when I say that, apart from chocolates, this is what I am an “absolute fool” for…

Say C-H-E-E-S-E! πŸ˜†

Yup, I am a sucker for cheese! Especially when it’s perfectly melted – like in this homemade pizza I prepared recently from leftover pita halves hubby brought home from a resto where we took out our dinner a couple of nights ago.Β  These babies definitely had a “new lease on life” after IΒ slathered ’em with olive oil and someΒ tomato sauce, spiced them up with dashes of salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and of course – the grand finale – topped them with loads and loads of yummy mozzarella! 😎

Now if this ain’t bliss, I don’t know what is! πŸ˜€

  6. I love cheese too! and this pizza looks delish (and lesser calories too with the pita). I think that using that pita was a wise move. :o)

Truth be told, though, Jescel, I wasn’t really counting calories when I did this… just didn’t want the pita to go to waste – hehehe πŸ˜‰ Thanks for your kind comment!

  9. Isn’t giving left-overs a total make-over the greatest?! Love these homemade pizzas. It’s something we can make with the kids. πŸ˜‰

You said it, left-over make-overs are simply the best – especially when none of it is left (twice) over – hahaha! πŸ˜† Yup, this is definitely a kid-friendly kitchen activity. πŸ™‚
